My last day in Sydney (for now) tomorrow I head to Melbourne for the start of a little East Coast mini-tour. It was all about finding some quiet and beautiful places to read my book today. I got out of the train at Martin Place station, crossed the street, and took in the Royal Botanical Gardens. A labyrinth of greenery, winding paths, and little shady nooks unwound before me. It was the perfect place to pass an afternoon. I made my little camp over by the herb garden, catching little bursts of the fragrant plants. After working my way through a large chunk of my paperback, I walked around the harbor edge to the opera house. On the Circular Quay, there are a large number of small cafes to stop and take in the bridge and opera house.
